Concept: Physical vs. Phenominal Transparency

Design: Phenominal transparency/visual penetration longitudinally through house, layering of spaces, buffer from street, vertical expansion from front to back (as seen in section). sense of compression to expansion and release through processional experience, axial layout, and ambiguity between interior and exterior spaces (in courtyard).
